In addition to well-known traditional holidays, each month offers several unusual ones that are quirky, heartfelt, or just plain fun. We chose sixteen that occur in February and challenged fandom’s amazing authors to write stories based on those themes.

Even though No Brainer Day isn’t celebrated until February 27, we already were confident we’d receive a wealth of creative stories in time for Winterfest Online 2026. Thank you to all the BatB fanfic writers who proved us right! We hope everyone will enjoy this collection, which we offer as CABB’s annual gift to everyone celebrating WFOL.
The nine days of WFOL are always busy and filled with a multitude of wonderful things to do, so if you don’t have time to read these stories now, just come back to CABB – New Chambers at any time. The collection will be there waiting for you, along with dozens of other intriguing stories and special features.
And while you’re celebrating some fun February holidays, please take a moment to toast all the writers, artists, craftspeople, tech experts, and others in our fantastic fandom community who help keep the dream alive through the results of their talents, hard work, and dedication. The perfect time to do that is February 14 – “International Fanworks Day”! – but please know your support through enthusiasm, comments, and feedback makes a tremendous difference every day of the year.

Hi, Patricia! How wonderful that you found your “tribe” of B&B fans! There aren’t many in-person fan clubs anymore, the fandom has primarily moved online. There is a Google group (BBTV) to chat about the show, and there are numerous B&B groups on Facebook. Of course, every year we have another Winterfest Online, our annual online convention, which brings nine days of discussions, games, etc., all B&B-themed. Check for more information through CABB’s updates, and you can always check on Batbland.com! Also, there are annual in-person B&B conventions – this year’s will be held in Salem, MA in July!
