FAMOUS FIRST OR
LAST WORDS

TOGETHER

by Paula

Life framed, dammed, reinforced; a face shrouded in melancholy; silent contemplation. Longing for a flash of delight and oblivion. Delicate gestures and constant uncertainty. Waiting for barriers to be abandoned, locks to be opened, for sweet, sensual relief…

Two fragments of life, no longer separated; one night, in a small corner of a magical world, in the crumpled sheets of a large bed; tenderly, with the touch of warm fingers, breath by breath, kisses, trembling, whispers on the lips… like waves in a passionate sway, the glow of candles fell on heated bodies.

There is a first time for everything.

  1. Paula thank you and I could imagine Vincent and Catherine yes a first time for everything… However….while I’m thinking Catherine and Vincent this could apply also to any couple truly in love. Still there is only one truly magical world for me and right now one couple that I could truly say it belongs to. Especially “waiting for barriers to be abandoned” line. Yes, yes. yes….please.

    • Thank you, PearlAnn, for your kind words. This is the couple that matters most to us.
In these few words, I wanted to convey the depth and essence of waiting for this important moment and outline some elements, while leaving the rest to our imagination.

  6. Oh, Carole! Are those words really meant for me? My excitement is boundless. ..but deep down, I believe that I am far from being a poet. What you wrote gives strength, faith, and is a huge encouragement to create and try. Thank you very much!
