SAVE THE DATES FOR WFOL 2025!
Winterfest Online (WFOL) is an annual online event for fans of the CBS television series, Beauty and the Beast (1987-1990). Each year, the Beauty and the Beast fandom gathers to celebrate everything BatB! There’s fanfic to read, art to enjoy, games to play, a full schedule of chats and presentations, plus daily activities including puzzles, questions of the day, and drabble and poetry challenges.
All Beauty and the Beast fans are invited to attend – whether you’ve loved the show since it first aired in 1987 or you just discovered it recently – we’d love to see you there!

Winterfest Online is put on by fans for fans and we need your help to make the magic happen! If you draw, paint, write, sing, play an instrument, read out loud, craft, cook, make videos, or do anything else Beauty and the Beast inspired, we encourage you to share your creativity at WFOL. Submissions will be accepted beginning around January 1st (we’ll make an announcement).

So very sorry that I missed you all this year, life is a bit tangled down this end of the world, and I’m having difficulties coping with it. Having to do big mobs of clearing up at the homestead, trees need chopping down, air-conditioning needs repairs, I need a good kick up the – : you know what: – just imagine you are one extremely frustrated little roo who is having fifty fits and banging my head against the proverbial brick wall, and getting nowhere fast. I have missed yous all and having said that, I will miss you all even more this year, as funds will not allow airfares to New Orleans, tree lopping, etc. etc.
Having turned 80 last September, when I got home from Washington, and promptly caught a rotten case of the flu/cold and was crook for dang near a month, resulting in more weight loss and a bloody awful cough which I cannot seem to shift. My very best wishes for a bonza con in New Orleans, and I will be with you all in spirit, so if you hear the hop, hop of ghostly feet, it will be me – think of me kindly, and know that I love you all, and will try and write to friends.
Much love to you all, if you remember, raise a glass of “rough red” in my memory, and know that if I get this pile of bricks and mortar sold, I’ll be back as soon as I can. Take care all of you and know that you are never far from my thoughts.
