“It wasn’t courage – it was love.”

“When all’s said and done, you’ve got to follow your heart.”

“One either moves toward love or away from it. There is no other direction.”

These are only a few of the many well-known lines of dialogue from BatB. We’ve heard them so many times that just thinking about any one of them provides immediate identification. We know who said it, where it was said, and why.

So, what happened when we asked fandom’s amazing writers to “borrow” a favorite iconic line from the original speaker and give it to someone else to say in a new setting and for a different purpose?

If you would like to discover the answer to that question, please join us in reading several wonderful stories that were submitted in response to this Challenge. Each one gives a very intriguing and imaginative reinterpretation of a key BatB line – or two or three.

Many thanks to the talented writers who responded to this Challenge! Please know your work will be appreciated and enjoyed. Many thanks as well to  SandyX for not only for letting me revive the Challenge project, but for all she did during her many years as the sole admin of CABB and Tunnel Tales to keep this dream alive and well.

All feedback from readers is so meaningful to the writers. Please leave comments! You’ll encourage the authors to keep working.

Okay good, okay fine!
Enjoy the new stories – it’s good to read. (Father said so) –
and always remember love!
