Each year CABB offers a wonderful story collection as a gift to the guests at WFOL. We’d like to thank Teresa Miller for suggesting the inspiring theme for the 2025 celebration: Narcissa’s Gifts – From Dreams to Reality.

Once upon a time in the classic Disney movie, Cinderella told us: “A dream is a wish your heart makes.” Now, dreams and wishes are all well and good, but it’s even better when they somehow come true; however, they often need a bit of help along the way.

BatB fandom might not have a Fairy Godmother to lend a hand or wave a wand, but we do have Narcissa and many imaginative fanfic writers and artists who can do the job just as well!

In this story collection, the dreams of several beloved BatB characters have been transformed with the help of Narcissa’s magic and our writers’ talents. We hope you’ll enjoy discovering just how these precious dreams have changed some special lives forever…

Our deepest thanks always to everyone – writers, artists, and readers – who participate in our CABB Challenges. Always remember that, like Narcissa, you have the power to keep dreams alive.
