NOTHING IS IMPOSSIBLE

She turned off the computer, let out a shaky sigh, and rubbed her eyes. I’ve been staring at this screen for eight HOURS? How? This is the third weekend in a row I’ve been researching. She let out a groan.

Her gaze landed on the notebook full of website addresses, emails, and notes she’d taken while browsing. At first, she was in a panic, with her stomach in knots. It was so bad she ran to the bathroom in case she’d be sick. After collecting herself, she had gone back to see what rabbit hole she’d fallen into. 

She was afraid it would be all negative, but was happily surprised to see the opposite. She stumbled onto an email group: BBTV. She had spent some time signing up and going through past posts. She decided to just lurk for a while. 

Then she saw CABB being mentioned, and went there to see what it was about. After reading a few stories, she accidently stumbled into The Steam Tunnels. The first story she read made her blush so badly, she left quickly. She also noticed a Winterfest Online, and spent time going through the chambers. 

These people are very talented. 

It was the advertisement for the 2024 con that piqued her curiosity. 

Washington DC. 

She immediately sent an email to JoAnn Baca asking her to call her at her earliest convenience. 

A month later…

Winterfest’s closing circle had just ended, helpers were saying their goodbyes. Some had planes to catch, and others were just lingering. Catherine pulled Vincent aside. 

“Vincent, I have a surprise for you, but you’ll have to come with me.”

Vincent smiled, gently took her hand, and she led him to his chamber. 

“Please sit. What I’m about to show you may frighten you at first, but just know you have more support than you realize,” she said as she pulled out her phone and started a video. 

A lady’s face was on the screen.  “Hello, Vincent and Catherine. I hope you had a marvelous Winterfest. Be well and stay in touch.”

One by one, people were wishing them a Happy Winterfest. It was the very last video that shook Vincent to the core. 

 “Happy Winterfest, Vincent. We can’t wait to meet you in DC. Be prepared for more hugs than you ever had in your life.”

 Vincent looked over at Catherine. “We’re going to Washington?”

Catherine giggled. “Meet me at my apartment. Let me show you online how amazing and talented these friends are. Oh, and you HAVE to see Bubba.”
