GLITTER HAPPENS

Rebecca spun the bottle of glitter in her hands that Catherine had dropped off. This would go nicely into the wax she would be pouring for the Christmas candles.

She hummed a little tune as she worked, pleased with the way the candles turned out. That little extra touch winked in the light. Satisfied, she left the work area.

Later…SHINY caught Arthur’s eyes. Must investigate! The bottle rotated in Arthur’s paws, as well as the lid.

Glitter spilled onto Arthur’s fur and pads. So much SHINY! So much fun!

Glittery paw prints were found leading out of the room.

STUFF IT

“Oww!” Catherine cried. That was the third time she had stabbed her finger. This DIY stocking kit she had gotten at the Christmas Market had turned into a blood, sweat and tears project.

Catherine exhaled. The last stitch was done. She smiled as she gazed on Vincent’s name in glitter at the top of the Christmas stocking.

The orange fit nicely in the toe of the stocking. A small bag of Joe’s beloved chocolate covered cheese nuggets went next. She tossed in some pecans and walnuts to fill in the empty spaces. A peppermint stick was the finishing touch.
