HAPPY APRIL ANNIVERSARY!

This year the April 12th CABB Challenge celebrates the silliest of spring holidays – April Fool’s Day. Whether we’re living Above or Below or somewhere in between, we all could use a laugh or three. So, join us in a journey to a humorous, off-beat alternate universe where watching BatB episodes takes on whole new meanings!

To participate we asked contributors to choose an episode title, change one word in it, and write a brief description to show how the storyline now has a very different focus.

Here’s an example:

“Chamber Maid”: Catherine goes undercover at a seedy Times Square hotel. You’ll be as surprised as she when her feather duster turns up clues – ticket stubs and unpaid bar tabs from Little Nicky’s Comedy Club, handwritten lists of really bad jokes, a crumpled pack of Marlboros – that all point toward a certain someone’s shady secret life. Just what has Father been up to?!

As always, we are grateful to all the creative fanfic writers who were inspired to send in their terrific titles and to everyone who reads and enjoys them. A special thanks to Amber, one half of fandom’s famous Fruitcake Duo, for the original idea we adapted for our Challenge.
