Shades of Love

Valentine’s Day is celebrated Below. Shy Vincent tries to express his feelings more openly, and Father devises more tasks for his son, so that the two lovers can’t enjoy a private celebration. Will they manage to fool the old man and escape to a cozy alcove?

Promises of Journeys

Devin drops by for a visit and tries to arrange a trip for Vincent and Catherine to his cottage against Father’s thunder. The library looks like the aftermath of a hurricane. Mary brews calming teas. Peter lurks with a sleeping pill. Residents work together to make their favorite couple happy, disregarding the complaints of the community leader.

Everything is Fine

Arthur goes missing, and the entire community joins in the search. Father pretends to be uninterested, while Mouse goes crazy, accusing William of frying the raccoon for dinner. The cook does not despair at all. Vincent looks into the farthest corners of the tunnels and is attacked by bats. After a long search, the culprit is found under Cullen’s bed. No one expected the carving sounds to have a sleep-inducing effect on the animal.

A Happy Night

Without Father’s knowledge, in conspiracy with Mary, Rebecca, Olivia, and William, Vincent is preparing a birthday surprise for Catherine. For Friday evening, after a hard week at work, she is invited to the hot springs Below. Surrounded by scented candles, Vincent delves into the art of massage.

Remember Guard

After a concert performed by the children’s choir, while Father is already sleeping soundly in his alcove in the Great Hall, a big party is taking place  – William’s wine, snacks, music from a boombox, Mouse’s invention emitting lights onto rock walls. All participants, most mildly intoxicated, sway in the dance. Vincent and Catherine have their own rhythm, getting closer and closer to the exit, where Father unexpectedly appears.

Chamber Competitions

James, the new resident, appears Below. He and Rebecca develop feelings. However, another man is also interested in her. Mouse invents contests of skill between the men to see which of them will be a better partner. Archery, wrestling in the mud, a candy-eating race, assembling a gadget according to Mouse’s idea. And all this is happening behind Father’s back, and Vincent doesn’t even notice anything because he’s so focused on Catherine.
